Ashley loves to create. She would spend hour upon hour drawing and painting in her bedroom at her Perkinston home. When she was diagnosed with a rare form of kidney disease, her artwork was affected, but she was still driven to create! However, hurricane Katrina had other ideas, destroying her home, and taking away the place where she loved to draw.

When the wish granters caught up with Ashley, her wish was clear. She wished to have her very own art studio! So in December of last year, not only was her new home finished, but her wish came true as well. Ashley got her art studio, complete with plenty of art supplies. Now her creativity can flow uninterrupted and free.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Mississippi is a §501 (c)(3) charitable organization and, therefore, donations are deductible according to IRS guidelines (T.I.N. # 64-0730362). By choice, we receive no direct governmental assistance, but rely solely on the support of those who share the vision and mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
