I wish to go to Walt Disney World® Resort
Whitney loves her family. Throughout her battle with osteosarcoma this fourteen year old young lady knew that she could count on them for love and support. When her wishgranters asked her about her wish, she knew that she wanted something that the whole family could enjoy. That’s why she wished to go to Walt Disney World® Resort.
In June, Whitney along with her mom, dad, older brother, and two younger sisters, boarded a plane bound for Florida and a wonderful experience. Upon arriving at Give Kids the World Village®, she got a taste of the community that can only be found on a Disney wish. Whitney later remarked that the trip “…was relaxing and it felt good to be able to see that there are other kids like you when you think you’re the only one.” Whitney had many great times while at Disney and she even got to be in the Lion King, playing a little tambourine!
